OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2012. Special Steel Division 304HC2 stainless steel wire rod product wins Metallurgical Industry Excellent Quality Award, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

304HC2 stainless steel wire rod is mainly used in the manufacture of high quality stainless steel standard part. It is welcomed by customers by virtue of its good surface quality and cold processing performance. At present, Special Steel Division 304HC2 product quality is of domestic leading level, with 40% of market share and 80% of high-quality stainless steel standard part market share.

Early last year, Special Steel Division passes the initial evaluation of China Quality Association's metallurgical industry branch. In July the same year, it passes China Quality Association on-site expert review and is well received. Amid the fierce competition with major steel mills, Special Steel Division passed the desertation and wins the final award.
