Ukraine to Withdraw Business Out Shadows
OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2012. One of the Government’s main tasks is the withdrawal of business out the shadows, Mykola Azarov said during a visit to the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
"The main our task of reducing shady business that is to create conditions and incentives so that business is being paid taxes," said Mykola Azarov.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister stressed that the Government pursues deregulation and reducing administrative impact on business.
"Over the past two years the Government is actively pursuing a policy of deregulation and reducing administrative impact on business. I think for a year or one and a half we will complete this process," said Mykola Azarov. At that he noted that already now a new business in Ukraine can be registered for 1-3 days. At the same time, the law of Ukraine stipulates that the allocation of the land plot for construction shall not be more than 90 days.
In addition, the Head of Government emphasized that in Ukraine the number of taxes has been reduced two times and the income tax has been reduced by 4%. Mykola Azarov said that the current profit tax is 21%, next year it would be 19% and in 2014 - to be 16%.
