Christopher Einchcomb Appointed Senior Vice President in TNK-BP
OREANDA-NEWS. March 22, 2012. TNK-BP informs that Christopher Einchcomb is appointed Senior Vice President, Exploration, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.
In his new position, Christopher will be responsible for exploration projects of the Company in and outside Russia. Christopher has 30-year experience in exploration and production of hydrocarbons. Since August 2011 to date, Christopher has been working in TNK-BP as Vice President, International Projects and Exploration and in 2006–2008 as Vice President, Exploration. Earlier, he was an executive vice president in Integra, and before that he had worked for 24 years at BP. Christopher has deep knowledge and insight in geophysics, exploration, and technical assessment of project and extensive experience of working in Russia, Vietnam, Venezuela, Middle East, Great Britain, and North America.
According to Alexander Dodds, Executive Vice President, Upstream, in view of the increased strategic role of exploration works and growth of the portfolio of foreign assets, the Company management decided to restructure the International Projects and Exploration Division and split it into an Exploration Division and International Projects Division. “The new organizational structure will comply with the international strategy of our Company, be conducive to development of its organizational potential in international and exploration projects, and improve the efficiency of operations and overall performance of the Company,” said he.
