OREANDA-NEWS. March 22, 2012. Prime Minister Mykola Azarov charged the Ministry of Health to conduct an inventory of all medical equipment in health care institutions of II-III level. The relevant order has been made by Prime Minister at Cabinet’s session.

"The Ministry has to make an inventory of medical equipment: which is installed in health care institutions of II-III level, and which has not been installed" - Mykola Azarov ordered.

According to the PM over last year health care institutions did not used 740 pieces of medical equipment worth 322 mln UAH.

"Now health care is implemented complex transformations that are designed to give people an affordable and quality health care. Of course, it is a complicated process with organizational, and economic and social point of view. Moreover each step must be adjusted and timely. Therefore, the Ministry together with local authorities should monitor and quickly respond to problems that arise in the course of reform and to ongoing dialogue with civil society" – Mykola Azarov stressed.
