OREANDA-NEWS. March 21, 2012. During the first two months of 2012 the plant shipped 30% more cement to its consumers in comparison with the last year.

The production rates of cement and clinker were increased by more than 60 thousand tons in comparison with the same period of 2011, and all targets for the production of chalk and clay were exceeded by 21% and 28% respectively.

Also, it should be noted that, in addition to bagged cement in 25 kg and 50 kg bags, the plant successfully ships its products in big bags to the consumers. Only in February “Belgorod cement”, JSC, which is part of the “EUROCEMENT group” Holding shipped almost seven times more than planned cement in big bags.

In addition, the plant pays great attention to the rational use of resources which helps reduce pollution and improve the overall ecological background in the region. However, cement production is an energy-intensive process, and Belgorod Cement Plant is doing a good job in terms of energy savings, thus from the beginning of the year energy savings per ton of cement amounted to 13.5 kWh.
