OREANDA-NEWS. March 21, 2012. Experts of Guodian Research Corporation visited facilities of JSC  Irkutskenergo: Novo-Ziminskaya CHPP, CHPP-6, CHPP-7, Novo-Irkutskaya CHPP and CHPP-10, where they got acquainted with the state and the operation of power equipment. Upgrade of the CHPP equipment and new technologies were discussed at the meeting of Chinese and Russian experts. Thus, Irkutsk power engineers were interested in using plasma ignition technologies, which considerably reduce or cancel use of expensive residual oil for ignition and fire maintenance. This technology is widely used in China. Moreover, Guodian experts presented a number of energy saving and environmentally friendly technologies, such as heat pumps, bag filters, frequency drives. As a result, the parties agreed to estimate jointly the efficiency and feasibility of using Chinese technologies at JSC  Irkutskenergo considering the nature of Russian power industry. Further cooperation will include a return visit of JSC  Irkutskenergo experts to Guodian Corporation premises.
