OREANDA-NEWS. March 21, 2012. A delegation of Bridgehouse Capital (Great Britain) led by N. Hobday has been received at the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan. Bridgehouse Capital manages several companies in the UK, Eastern Europe, as well as the United States. It has over 2,500 employees.

Annual turnover of the company exceeds US0 million, while the volume of assets makes up USnewscat="%" number="50" billion. Bridgehouse Capital owns such firms as Sentrum, Global Marine Systems, Thistle Hotel Group, Navisite, Geo-Logistic, Arena Central, and others. It holds licenses for construction of 4,500 houses in Iraq.

The company is interested in investing into projects, implemented in the Central Asian region and Uzbekistan, the press service of the committee said.

During the meeting, the Uzbek side briefed the guests on the priority directions of activities of the State Property Committee, measures of the government on stimulating investments, directed to implementation of innovative projects, creation of enterprises and launch of production of new goods.

The Uzbek side provided information on privatized objects to Bridgehouse Capital and said that all information on objects and privatization terms can be found at the website of the committee.

The sides agreed that Bridgehouse Capital will submit proposals on objects and detailed information on creation of enterprises to the State Property Committee.
