OREANDA-NEWS. March 20, 2012. Danish Competition Authority organized an international event “European Competition and Consumer Day” (Copenhagen, Denmark), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service was represented by the Head of its Analytical Department, Alexei Sushkevich. He discussed with the colleagues from competition authorities of European countries priorities of antimonopoly regulators in the period of financial crisis and methods that competition authorities can use to facilitate economic growth.

The items on the agenda included, in particular: priority areas of for legislative activity of the Directorate General on Competition of the European Commission, economic growth through simplifying the rules for state procurement, priorities of the work of competition authorities.
