OREANDA-NEWS. March 20, 2012. Assets of the Yekaterinburg branch, a subsidiary of International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) - Bank IBA-Moscow Ltd, totaled 1.18 bn rubles by early 2012 with a rise of 51.3% in 2011, reported the press-centre of IBA.

The IBA press service informs that branch’s tax profit for 2011 amounted to 69.5 million rubles.

Branch’s credit portfolio by early 2012 amounted to 1.068 bn rubles, including loans to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs for 1.018 bn and individuals for 50.2 million rubles. The priority areas for lending were manufacturing, construction, transport and communications, wholesale and retail trade, real estate transactions.

Bank’s lending to small and medium business in Yekaterinburg for the past year increased by 2.4 times from 261 million to 614 million rubles. So, in 2010 it was financed 17 projects and in 2011 their number reached 29 operations. Last year the Bank gave 102 consumer loans for 50.22 million rubles in Yekaterinburg.

The volume of population’s deposits in the Yekaterinburg branch of the Bank was 161.2 million rubles by early 2012 with an increase of 79.7% in 2011 (approximately 5.5% of total deposits of IBA-Moscow). Last year the branch paid interests for 7.6 million rubles on retail deposits.

In 2011 the subsidiary transferred9.5 million rubles of taxes (excluding profit tax) to the budget the city of Yekaterinburg.

Number of cards issued by IBA-Moscow subsidiary by early 2012 reached 406 with a rise of 19.1% in 2011. The number of bank-owned cash machines in Yekaterinburg by the end of 2011 amounted to 8 cash machines. The 15 objects of trade and services were set POS-terminals of the Bank.

In 2011 the Yekaterinburg branch provided charitable aid to a children’s home by giving money for purchase of drugs.

The IBA-Moscow branch in Yekaterinburg opened on 1 September 2005. On the basis of Yekaterinburg branch it is planned to develop the network in the Ural region. In March 2010, IBA-Moscow opened an additional office "Tagansky" and in August 2011 - an additional office "Zavokzalnaya."
