OREANDA-NEWS. March 19, 2012. PetroChina and Jilin Province New Energy Investment Com., Ltd. signed a framework agreement in Beijing to jointly establish a natural gas pipeline network company, reported the press-centre of CNPC.

A concrete step taken after CNPC and Jilin Provincial Government signed an agreement regarding a gas supply project in Jilin to benefit the local people, cooperation between the two sides this time will further consolidate the achievements made in the earlier stage, and promote the efficient utilization of natural gas and facilitate the optimization of energy structure in Jilin.

CNPC Chairman Jiang Jiemin, CNPC President Zhou Jiping, Secretary of Jilin Provincial Party Committee Sun Zhengcai, and Jilin Provincial Governor Wang Rulin had a discussion on strengthening bilateral cooperation and attended the signing ceremony. CNPC Vice President Liao Yongyuan presided over the ceremony. PetroChina Vice President Huang Weihe and Jilin Province New Energy Investment Com., Ltd Chairman Cao Jiaxing signed the agreement on behalf of the two sides.
