OREANDA-NEWS.March 19, 2012. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov stressed that the implementation of new social initiatives based on the increasing economic growth and will not cause inflation. This was stressed by Prime Minister on air of the "Exam for Power" program at the First National TV Channel, commenting on the concern of experts: does will not an increase in welfare payments to inflation.

The Prime Minister stressed that adopting the decision to implement new social program, the Government was guided by realistic economic calculations and expert’s estimates. "Very serious expert assessment carried out for all the steps that will now be realized in the form of laws, regulations of the Government", - said Mykola Azarov, assuring that the implementation of this program will not cause inflation.

The Head of Government said that we need about 25 billion UAH to implement the social program. "This is a very large amount. But if you compare it with the size of, say, consolidated budget expenditures which excess of 450 bln UAH, it will be about 5%. Increasing of expenditures by 5% - is it a lot? Here we say that it is a few. So on the one hand amount is a huge, and we have to strain very seriously strain, on the other hand - with consideration of all expenses of the consolidated budget this is not such a big amount", - Mykola Azarov argued.

Second, he said, the social program based on economic growth. "Economic growth means providing greater and greater volume of goods and services. That is, money, which goes into circulation, covered by increasing the cost of products and services offered on the market. If this was not, we would certainly not go over these decisions, because in this case - an expert is absolutely right - it would trigger inflation. 10% rise of the economy, which we will have in previous years, it is just that increase the supply of goods and services, which allows us to go for 5% rise in costs "- the Prime Minister said.

Thus, Mykola Azarov noted that, for example, compensation of depositors of the former Soviet Union Savings Bank will be stretched in time, they will not be simultaneously. In addition, the National Bank is creating a system of issuing deposit cards to depositors, to which will be listed the compensation money, "and every citizen who receive compensation will have a choice: either go to any ATM to withdraw this thousand and spend (his right), or save a thousand on favorable terms on deposit and get a good percentage of it".

"So we very seriously calculate everything. Of course there are risks, about which the expert said, I can not deny them; there are the risks in any business. But those precautions, we are going to take will allow us to minimize these risks" - the Prime Minister said.
