OREANDA-NEWS. March 16, 2012. Baosteel Engineering & Technology Group has announced: the drum slag treatment technology and devices system which Baosteel has full independent intellectual property rights will settle in Zhonglong Steel Making Factory of Taiwan CSC. Following the successful export to Indian JWS, Posco Korea, the technology and equipment supply once again to the world's leading iron and steel enterprises, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

The system is the upgrade product through system integration on the basis of past experience, means make slag pot tipping device, slag machine and body of drum in one “Trinity” synthesis of new system technology as the core, equipped with transportation and storage silo system, in order to reach the “two high one low” target of increase of the treatment efficiency of drum slag, safety operation and decrease operation rate of crane. After execution of “Trinity” new system technology, the treatment ratio of drum slag can reach to 85%, and can adapt to the treatment of full form slag, carry out effectively the philosophy of environment protection “floor without slag”.

According to schedule, the equipments of drum slag will begin to transport before the end of November. The whole project will put into operation at the end of February next year. Actually, Baosteel Project is putting his best to carry out related work.
