OREANDA-NEWS. March 16, 2012. OJSC Aeroflot – Russian Airlines launched the sixth Sukhoi SuperJet 100 (SSJ-100). The aircraft features the livery of SkyTeam, the second largest airline alliance, reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.

Aeroflot is a full-fledged member of SkyTeam since 2006, and following its rules the carrier must have at least two aircraft with a corporate paint scheme.
 
By 2014 the alliance regulations call for 3% of each alliance member fleet to be in SkyTeam livery. These parameters are generally accepted at other global alliances OneWorld and Star Alliance. Corporate SkyTeam livery manifests unity of its members, their objectives and aspirations. The first SkyTeam livery aircraft in Aeroflot fleet is А330-300 (tail number VQ-BCQ) flown since 2009. SSJ-100 became the first Russian-made aircraft with SkyTeam corporate paint scheme.  
 
Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft (serial number 95013) was delivered to Aeroflot under lease agreement with VEB Leasing Company. The airliner seats 87 passengers in two-class layout (12 seats in business class and 75 – in economy class). 
 
Aeroflot flies short-range Sukhoi SuperJet 100 to such domestic and international destinations as Saint-Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Astrakhan, Chelyabinsk, Perm, Volgograd, Anapa, Minsk, Oslo, Budapest, and Samara.
 
One of the youngest and most modern in Europe, Aeroflot’s fleet will be strengthened with 30 SSJ-100, that will play a key role in strategic plans to establish a global network airline and reinforce leading position in the domestic market.
 
Sukhoi Superjet 100 – a new generation regional aircraft developed and produced by CJSC Sukhoi Civil Aircraft in partnership with Alenia Aermacchi - made its first flight on 19 May 2008. In February 2011 SSJ-100 was certified by the aviation register of the Interstate Aviation Committee, and in February 2012 – by European Aviation Safety Agency. Thus SSJ-100 may be exploited by European airlines and by airlines of the states following EASA standards.
