OREANDA-NEWS. March 15, 2012. M2M telematics Group of companies delivered GLONASS equipment for the needs of the KAMAZ Leasing Company, JSC, the affiliated company of KAMAZ vehicle manufacturer. According to the agreement conditions, more than 200 units of different types of KAMAZ vehicle production for lease were provided with navigation and communication equipment.

It was not only the high quality of the GLONASS manufactured equipment that played a significant role in the choice of M2M telematics, but also its large scale network of regional dispatcher centers (85 partners from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok), which are able to carry out IT support in all the regions of Russia and to reduce the costs of rental companies when technical navigational equipment is provided.

Currently, the lease vehicles provided with GLONASS equipment are operational in the Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, and Khabarovsk regions, the Yamalo-Nenetskiy, Khanti-Mansiyskiy autonomous regions, the regions of Belgorod, Voronezh, Leningrad, Lipetsk, Moscow, Omsk, Orenburg, Perm, Rostov, Saratov, Sverdlovsk, Tver, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Komi and are controlled by both the owner of the vehicles (the leaseholder) as well as at the level of the KAMAZ Leasing company Head Office.

The efficiency of the GLONASS technologies usage was also felt by the final consumers of the services; the leaseholders, who have now also gained the possibility of tracking location of vehicles used by their employees. Previously, as a result of the lack of control instruments, it was quite difficult to track the real conditions of vehicle use, their location and, as a result, to control the intensity of their use, as well as the expense of the vehicle resource over a certain period of time. GLONASS technologies allow us to significantly increase the transparency of business processes, acting as a catalyst for the increase in efficiency of both lease holding company activity and companies using vehicles through rental contracts.
