OREANDA-NEWS. March 15, 2012. Bus production (including minibuses and “work-team buses” on truck chassis) in Russia rose 64.8% year on year to 2.5 thousand units in the first month of 2012, according to ASM Holding analysts’ data. Of the total production figure, output of domestic models was 2.0 thousand vehicles (up 112.8%), while foreign-brand bus output was 0.5 thousand units (down 12.7%). A notable increase of domestic bus output is seen for the first time after fall of production in September-October 2011 and then achieving an even annual result.
