OREANDA-NEWS. March 15, 2012. By the State Budget for 2012 it is provided 732 million UAH for the state support of the livestock industry, in particular by paying subsidies for the realized milk and meat.

It is also provided to direct to supporting the livestock industry of part of expenses under the budgetary program "Financial support measures in the agro industrial complex."

Currently, on behalf of the Government the Ministry of Agrarian Policy has been finalizing the mechanism of use of budgetary funds for the mentioned above aims, which will soon be considered at the Cabinet session.

In addition, according to the Law of Ukraine dated December 22, 2011 № 4268 "On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine to support agricultural producers," since January 1, 2012 the processing enterprise uses the sum of value added tax transferred to a special account exclusively for payment of compensation to agricultural producers for sold by them milk and meat in live weight.
