Rosneft Appoints Vice President for Refining
OREANDA-NEWS. March 15, 2012. Igor Pavlov was appointed Rosneft vice president for refining.
Igor Pavlov has extensive experience in refining, having worked at Angarsk Petrochemical Company in 1989-2008 and as CEO of OJSC Achinsk Refinery in 2008-2012, reported the press-centre of Rosneft.
Commenting on the appointment, Rosneft President Eduard Khudainatov said: “In implementing our large-scale refinery modernization programme, Rosneft pays particular attention to ensuring we have the right key talent in place in our refining operations. Igor Pavlov worked his way up from process unit operator to CEO and has proven himself as a competent manager whose practical skills will be a great asset in this priority area.”
Alexander Kinzul has been appointed acting CEO of OJSC Achinsk Refinery. He previously served as first deputy CEO and chief technical officer at the refinery.

Graduated from the Angarsk State Technical Academy with a degree in Chemical Production and Construction Material Machinery and Equipment and from the Irkutsk State Academy of Economics with a degree in Economic Theory.
From 1985: Held various positions at refining companies.
1989-2008: Angarsk Petrochemical Company - worked his way up from process unit operator to director of a lubricant plant.
2008-2012: CEO, OJSC Achinsk Refinery
Alexander Kinzul
Began his career in 1996 as a process unit operator at the Achinsk refinery. Worked his way up to deputy chief technical officer for production. Served as chief technical officer at Rosneft's Eastern Petrochemical Company.
Most recently served as first deputy CEO and chief technical officer at OJSC Achinsk Refinery.
