OREANDA-NEWS. March 15, 2012. A region conference of the International Fertilizer Industry Association (IFA) titled “Current state and trends in development of international markets of mineral fertilizers and related industries” will be held in Tashkent on 2-4 April 2012.

The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution “On organizational measures on organizing and holding regional conference of the International Fertilizer Industry Association in Tashkent”.
The document was adopted for further expanding cooperation with IFA, attracting potential investors to implementation of investment projects in chemical industry of Uzbekistan on construction of new capacities and production of competitive and high quality products, diversifying structure and geography of export of mineral resources.

The resolution said that IFA will cover main part of expenses, related to organization of the regional conference in Tashkent, including rent of premises, technical service to conference and services of local organizations.

The Government of Uzbekistan entrusted the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade and Uzkimyosanoat to prepare report on the result of conference with proposals on attracting potential investors to implementation of projects in chemical industry and diversifying export of mineral fertilizers.
