OREANDA-NEWS. March 14, 2012. Rigla, the largest pharmacy chain by the market share in Russia*, opened the 700th pharmacy in Cheboksary.

The 700th pharmacy was opened within the strategy of active organic chain development. During the strategy implementation the company will open outlets both in Rigla self-service drug-store format and in Bud Zdorov! discounter format. The company plans to expand its market share in the regions where the chain has already gained strong positions by now. Other promising regions will also be considered.

The company plans to open new outlets at its own expense, without procurement of loans.

The company sees the organic development as a priority way to extend, but at the same time it does not exclude acquisition of other chains if there are interesting proposals.
