OREANDA-NEWS. March 14, 2012. According to January results, Pulkovo Airport became the fifth airport in terms of apron and baggage handling among 116 airports of the world where Emirates Airline performs its flights.

On November 1, 2011 the international airline of the UAE Emirates opened the direct flight to St.Petersburg which became the 115th route of its global route network.

"Today the Emirates flight geography includes 116 destinations and we should point out that January result is unprecedentedly high for the new route. We sincerely appreciate the excellent work quality of Northern Capital Gateway LLC staff who engaged in ground handling of Emirates aircrafts," said Olga Suknovalova Airport Services Manager of Emirates Airline in Pulkovo Airport.
