OREANDA-NEWS. March 13, 2012. This February, Ust-Luga Port turnover amounted to 2,247,280.366 tons, thus exceeding last year"s figures by a factor of 2.7. The number of cars transshipped within this period grew by 20.5% to reach 12,739 vehicles.

 For the two months 2012, Ust-Luga Port transshipped a total of 4,505,327.987 tons of various cargos; that was 2.7 times more than for the same period last year. The car transshipment volume of January-February grew by 64% and amounted to 27,184 pieces.

 In 2011, Ust-Luga Port transshipped 22,737,260.482 tons of various cargos and 133,837 cars. The turnover is supposed to reach 180 mln. tons by 2018.
