OREANDA-NEWS. March 13, 2012. The roof of the Sochi Olympic Skating Center is completed in the Olympic park. A huge shed elevates at the height of more than 30 m above the stadium. The perimeter of the roof is wave shaped that corresponds to the faзade resembling iceberg drifting in the ocean.

Inclination and water collectors of 36 heated funnels were installed to withdraw accumulated water on the roof. To remove exhaust air from the building exhaust units are installed on the roof.

Assembly of networks and communication channels, and final finishing of the interior are in progress at the moment.
