It was learnt from Wisco R&D Center by reporter that Wisco succeeded in developing new type of environmental protection stemming with high performance, breaking through foreign blockade on techniques, filling in the gap of the domestic field, and also initiating a new “clean” field for Chinese BF environmental protection, reported the press-centre of Wisco.

Before, it has been proved that benzopyrene, existing in stemming produced by jar and carbolineum following traditional way, is harmful to human health. With regard to this, Wisco tried to make technologies exchange with French and Korean enterprises, but received refusal. Therefore, Wisco made decision to implement independent development for environmental protection stemming to break through foreign blockade on techniques.

Through repeated experiments, Wisco scientific researchers finally mastered know how of producing environmental protection stemming, generated 8 technical patents, and produced environmental protection stemming for large-scale BF containing only 0.00333wt% of benzopyrene content, a key environmental protection  indicator and one third less than 0.005 wt% of European standard which is universally acknowledged as the most demanding.

In February this year, the stemming passed professional authentication by Hubei provincial committee of scientific and technological achievements authentication, and was certified to have proprietary intellectual property rights, and reach world leading position by its integral technology, meaning significantly for energy saving and emission reduction in steel industry.
