OREANDA-NEWS. March 12, 2012. TATNEFT Company continues developing the corporate program for utilization of associated petroleum gas (APG) designed for 2009-2013, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

Production volume of associated petroleum gas amounted to 830 million m3 at TATNEFT in 2011. The Company spent 3.46 billion rubles in 2009 - 2011 for projects to improve the effective use of the associated petroleum gas.

The main areas of APG utilization in TATNEFT include processing of gas at its own gas processing facilities to produce gas products, as well as using it as fuel for crude oil heaters and in the electricity generating installations.
