During the visit of a Turkish Airlines delegation to Tyumen, Turkish Airlines President Temel Cotilla met with General Director of UTair Aviation Andrey Martirosov and signed cooperation agreements for the joint development of route networks that will allow passengers to take advantage of both Airlines quality service at an affordable cost.

In particular, starting March 25, 2012, Turkish Airlines will to convert ticketing procedures on six scheduled flights from Istanbul, Ankara and Antalya to Vnukovo International Airport, enabling passengers to make connecting flights at UTair's main hub with a simplified ticket transactions.

UTair ranks among the top-three largest passenger airlines in Russia, the Baltic and CIS countries and has the largest route network of any Russian airline. UTair performs regular flights to more than 100 destinations in Russia and abroad, with more than 300 flights daily. In 2011 UTair carried more than seven million passengers. In 2012 the airline expects to transport 10 million passengers. The UTair Group operates the nation's largest fleet of more than 200 aircraft, including Boeing 737, ATR 72/42 and Bombardier CRJ 200 aircraft.

Turkish Airlines is one of the fastest growing airlines in the world and makes regular flights to 193 destinations around the world on more than 1,000 flights a day. In 2011 the airline carried more than 32 million passengers and in 2012 expects to transport more than 38 million passengers. The Turkish Airlines fleet consists of more than 180 aircraft of various types. Turkish Airlines has its main hub at the Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul and maintains a strong presence at the Esenboga Airport in Ankara and the Sabih Gokcen International Airport Istanbul.
