OREANDA-NEWS. March 09, 2012. Transaero Airlines for the first time ever launched flights on the Moscow - Yerevan route. Transaero's General Director Olga Pleshakova arrived at Armenia Zvartnots International Airport on the inaugural flight.

Initially the new Transaero Moscow – Yerevan – Moscow flights with designated codes UN261/262 and UN263/264 will operate four times weekly on the following schedule:

UN261: Departure from Domodedovo International Airport in Moscow on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 07:30 am, arriving in Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan at 10:20 am

UN262: Departure from Yerevan on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11:20 am, arriving in Moscow at 02:10 pm.

UN263: Departure from Domodedovo International Airport in Moscow on Fridays at 06:30 pm, arriving in Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan at 09:20 pm

UN264: Departure from Yerevan on Fridays at 10:20 pm, arriving in Moscow at 01:10 am the following day.

Starting from March 25, 2012, the flights on the MoscowYerevan route become daily. Flights UN261/262 will be also performed on Thursdays and Sundays, while additional UN263/264 flights will be performed on Mondays.

Upon the arrival in Moscow passengers aboard flights from Yerevan can take advantage of convenient connecting flights within Transaero Airlines' extensive flight network in Russia and abroad. For instance, from April 29, 2012 – the day when Transaero resumes its service on MoscowLos Angeles route – passengers from Yerevan will be provided for the opportunity to continue their trip onboard the carrier's flight to this destination in the US.

Transaero's flights between Moscow and Yerevan will be operated with Boeing 737 aircraft. The airline offers two class configurations: Business Class and Economy Class.

The launch of this new flight marks another step in building connections across the CIS and beyond through the development of Transaero's flight network.
