OREANDA-NEWS. March 09, 2012. In February Estonian Air carried altogether 39 746 passengers, which is 8.4% more than last year. On regular flights Estonian Air carried 39 444 passengers, which is 15.4 % more than last year, reported the press-centre of Estonian Air.

In the first two months of 2012, Estonian Air carried altogether 82 403 passengers, which is 11.5 % more than during the same period last year. On regular flights Estonian Air carried 81 963 passengers, which is 15.4% more than last year.

The positive result was supported by more aggressive and targeted sales, attractive and affordable fares, added flights and increased number of connecting flights from Tallinn for transit travellers,” said Rauno Parras, Estonian Air Commercial Manager.

Estonian Air operated 1892 flights in the first two months, which means 22.8% more flights than last year. In February 923 flights were operated, which is 18.9% more flights than last year.

The regularity of Estonian Air flights in the first two months was 99.1% and the 15-minute punctuality was 85.2%. In February the regularity and the punctuality were 98.7% and 84.5% respectively. Estonian Air is continuously one of the most punctual airlines in the world.
