OREANDA-NEWS. March 07, 2012. After 4 months trial production, the TISCO Stainless Usable Byproducts Processing Center is now in a stable operation. It is anticipated that more than 60,000 tons of stainless usable byproducts will be processed this year and the annual profit will be RMB 100 million yuan. The recycling and reusing of stainless steel open the new chapter of raising profit via centralized processing, reported the press-centre of TISCO.

Stainless steel is a kind of valuable green material with high recycling value. During daily production prcedures, a big quantity of casting discards, cut ends, cut edges and etc. are generated every year. Those material can be remelted, or processed into stainless steel products. Compared to remelting, the products processing has lower cost and higher added value, actualize the comprehensive utilization of resource, and generate favorable environmental and social effects.

In the beginning of 2011, TISCO started the preparation of the construction of usable material processing center. The installation and commisioning of equipment was completed in September followed the trial production. The center owns the capabilities of flattening, cutting, impacting, slitting, bending and leveling. The finished products can be supplied to enterprised stationing in industrial park or sold to outer companies. It offers convenient and quick raw material supply. According to some calculation, around 60,000 tons of stainless usable material will be processed by this center this year, and an annual profit of RMB 100 million yuan will be gained. With the optimization to internal process flow and exploration of outer market, the processing capability will be furtherly raised with a more considerable profit.
