CEO of RusAg Named Banker of Year
OREANDA-NEWS. March 07, 2012. In the course of the awarding ceremony of one of the most prestigious business events in Russia — International premium "Person of the Year", held in Moscow, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Russian Agricultural Bank Dmitry N. Patrushev became the laureate in the nomination "The Banker of the Year", reported the press-centre of RusAg.
The premium "Person of the Year" is established to promote the unity of society, business and the government. The selection of nominees is carried out among representatives of all spheres of public life, whose contribution to promotion of Russia`s national interests or remarkable successes in their own spheres of activity was the most prominent in the year 2011.
In 2011, Russian Agricultural Bank demonstrated positive dynamics of its key performance indicators. In some directions RusAg notably out-paced the market and secured the penetration of modern financial services practically into all regions of Russia. Loan portfolio of the Bank grew by 30% and exceeded RUB 950 billion. In particular, corporate loan portfolio showed 25% growth and amounted to RUB 807 billion, retail loan portfolio increased by 73% up to RUB 146 billion. The number of retail customers of RusAg reached 3 million people.
"Presenting such a prestigious award is an evidence of professionalism and effectiveness of all organizational units of Russian Agricultural Bank. Such results could not be achieved without a harmonious and well coordinated work of the whole Bank’s team", said Dmitry Patrushev.
