Eurasia Paid KZT2 mn for Supermarket Damaged by Fire
OREANDA-NEWS. March 07, 2012. Eurasia of Kazakhstan has made a reinsurance payment to Grupo Ramos supermarket of Spain due to a fire in the amount of KZT2 million (current rate – USD 1 = KZT148.02), the insurance company reports, reported the press-centre of Eurasia of Kazakhstan.
According to the insurer, the fire has destroyed partially one of Grupo Ramos supermarkets of La Sirena, a trading network of frozen products. The range of products sold by La Sirena includes 750 items of frozen products.
Eurasia Insurance Company was formed in 1995 and takes the leading positions in Kazakhstan’s insurance market. The company currently operates in over 75 countries around the world and is among the world’s 150 major reinsurers.
