OREANDA-NEWS. March 06, 2012. National Settlement Depository (NSD), Russia's only settlement depository servicing the full range of debt and equity securities of Russian issuers, and the Professional Association of Registrars, Transfer Agents and Depositories (PARTAD) announce results of a meeting of the working group involving members of the Committee for Registration Institutions' Procedural and Institutional Issues of PARTAD and NSD's Committee for Interactions with Registrars and Depositories held 1 March. It is worth reminding that the working group's activities are focused on development of technology of interactions between the central depository and registrars.

Among participants of the meeting were representatives of other organizations including Russia's Federal Financial Markets Service, NSD, DCC, “ING BANK (EURASIA) ZAO”, SD-DRAGa CJSC, INFINITUM Special Depository OJSC, Irkol CJSC, Novy Registrator CJSC, PRC CJSC, Registrator R.O.S.T. OJSC and STATUS CJSC.

The working group has discussed issues related to a process of reconciliation in the central depository account in the register and a procedure of opening the central depository account in the register.
