OREANDA-NEWS. March 06, 2012. Belarus’ President Alexander Lukashenko has approved the government’s investment programme for 2012, which will claim as much as Br3.569 trillion (USD 431.5 million at the NBB rate) in funding, the president’s press-service reports.

To compare, last year’s investment programme claimed Br2.481 trillion.

The bulk of investment funds – Br3.56 trillion – will be taken from the state budget. The programme facilitates the construction of 303 facilities, including 36 which will be started this year.

Standing on the list are the infrastructure of the nuclear power plant, motorways around Minsk and Grodno.
