OREANDA-NEWS. March 06, 2012. Embassy of Uzbekistan in Singapore in cooperation with tourism agency AX Exotic Travels held a media presentation of tourism potential of Uzbekistan for representatives of mass media, National Association of Tourism Agencies of Singapore and tourism agencies.

Participants of the event were provided information on rich historic, spiritual and cultural heritage of Uzbek people, geographic, natural and climate conditions in Uzbekistan, priority directions of developing tourism, created investment opportunities in tourism industry.

At the special stand, the organizers presented the Uzbek national costumes, as well as works of craftspeople. The participants had good chance to feel Uzbek hospitality and taste Uzbek cuisine and sweets.

Jahon news agency reported that exhibition dedicated to historic monuments and modern architecture of Uzbekistan attracted interest of the participants.

At the event, the organizers distributed materials on tourism sights of Uzbekistan and demonstrated film about history of ancient cities and modern development of Uzbekistan.
