January 2012 Ukrainian Consolidated Budget Demonstrated Good Results
OREANDA-NEWS. March 02, 2012. State Treasury Service of Ukraine Report dated February 27, 2012 states that the January 2012 total revenue of the Consolidated Budget of Ukraine has made 27,876.1 million, which exceeds the 2011 similar period figures by 4,319.1 million UAH, or by 18.3 percent.
Throughout January 2012, State Budget of Ukraine has obtained 21,709.4 million UAH, which is 3,357.7 million UAH, or 18.3 percent more than the similar figure of 2011.
During January 2012, the State Budget General Fund has been replenished by 18,097.2 million UAH, which exceeds the schedule by 3.4 percent, or by 599.7 million UAH. Compared to January 2011, State Budget General Fund’s actual revenue has been increased by 2,425 million UAH, or by 15.5 percent.
January 2012 greatest revenue has been for:
- value added tax (duty). State Budget General Fund has obtained 13,876.5 million UAH. Compared to January 2011, revenue for this tax has grown by 1,758 million UAH, or by 14.5 percent;
- domestic excise duty. State Budget General Fund has obtained 2,172.8 million UAH. Compared to the previous year, revenue for this tax has grown by 36.5 million UAH, or by 1.7 percent;
- rent tax. State Budget General Fund has obtained 1,436.9 million UAH. Compared to last year’s similar period, revenue for this tax has grown by 223.2 million UAH, or by 18.4 percent;
- corporate profit tax. State Budget General Fund has obtained 940.7 million UAH. Compared to last year’s similar period, revenue for this tax has been reduced by 15.5 million UAH, or by 1.6 percent. The reduction is due to the fact that the 4th quarter 2011 corporate profit was paid tax in January 2012, at the rate of 23 percent, and the 4th quarter 2010 corporate profit was paid tax in January 2011, at the rate of 25 percent.
Value added tax has been cash-refunded from the budget in January 2012 at the amount of 3,589.4 million UAH. Compared to January 2011, VAT refund has increased by 39.6 percent, or by 1017.6 million UAH.
January 2012 revenue to the Special Fund of the State Budget of Ukraine has been 3,612.2 million UAH. Compared to the previous January, the revenue has grown 34.8 percent, or 932.7 million UAH.
January 2012 own revenue of budgetary institutions has been 1,746.9 million UAH, which 219.6 million UAH, or 14.4 percent, exceeds the 2011 similar figure.
