In the whole year, TISCO oriented the market and product on state key project and key industry, on well-know producers with promising future and strong competitiveness. TISCO takes advantages of its new facilities and up-to-date technology, focuses on the producing, marketing and researching, jointly explores the market with colleges and institutes, associations and clients, actively develops the special product and high end product, as well as foster fist products. A favorable results are gained, e.g. the market share of duplex, heat-resistant steel, mint steel, as well as stainless steels in applications such as cold storage container, exhausting system and water tank; steel for railway train keep the leading position in domestic market; the sales of varieties like super pure ferritic stainless, clad, high grade cold rolling silicon steel, high strength engineer mechnical steel, high grade pipeline steel, automobile steel, anti-friction steel, oil well steel, steel in applications of electric system and electric tower gain a considerable increase compared to 2010; steel for liquefied natural gas bottle, as a substitute of imported product, is widely used in state key project; a group of new products and key varieties are successfully used in key projects and key industries, with a further elevation of the enterprise’s significance and market competitiveness.

Regarding stainless steel plate, its products are used in the key parts of target spacecraft “Tiangong-1” and airship “Shenzhou-8”, the duplex are approved by Oman Oil Company and Shell Group of certificates; the super pure ferrite is used in solar energy and curtain wall. In terms of stainless steel pipe, cooperations with well-known enterprise and design institute are established to push forward the quick application of steel pipe in key industries and key projects at home and abroad.

The U-shape, L-shape, W-shape and square-outer-round-inner pipes for international thermonuclear experimental reactor project are successfully developed. In terms of stainless strip, the welded strip products are applied by China’s famous enterprises as a substitute to imported products. flux-cored wire strip and electronic product precision strip are used by China’s famous enterprises and plants; high carbon martensite presicion strip is on leading position in China.

In terms of forged products, blade steel is successfully developed and entered into state key enterprises; a number of military steel is developed. In terms of carbon steel plate, the high strength steel for engineering mechnine and automobile beam steel, and the high grade pipeline steel are all in leading class in China. For carbon steel section and wire, the market share of TISCO’s axle steel is accounting for 90%, the axle steel used in traction engine on Daqin railway coal line is totally from TISCO; high strength weld steel in mechnic industry is successfully developed to replace the imported product. In terms of cold silicon steel, the high grade steel has been No. one in domestic market share for successive five years.
