OREANDA-NEWS. March 02, 2012. Representatives of German-Ukrainian Fund (GUF) and the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO) visited "MEGABANK". Foreign delegation came to Ukraine and in particular to "MEGABANK" in order to find out the needs of small and medium-sized companies in resources for introducing energy saving technologies and to evaluate the willingness and interest of financial intermediaries to work with new products, reported the press-centre of MEGABANK.

During the meeting the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board Alexander Shypilov told guests about potential of clients of "MEGABANK", and presented the list of clients, who had already attracted credits to be invested in energy efficiency. He also noted that "MEGABANK" has got an experience in this sphere as far as it cooperates with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as for UKEEP program.

Reference. On 14 November 2011 EBRD and PJSC "MEGABANK" have signed an agreement about granting a credit amounting USD 13.5 million within Ukraine Energy Efficiency Program.
The Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO) was established in 1990 by five Nordic countries: Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Finland and Sweden. NEFCO has financed a wide range of environmental projects in Central and Eastern Europe, including Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
