Fujitsu Creates New Revenue Streams for UK ISVs
OREANDA-NEWS. March 01, 2012. Fujitsu has launched its Business Solutions Store in the UK, enabling Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to create new revenue streams and respond to customer demand by extending their existing software to the cloud. A number of ISVs are already using the platform to grow their business and gain access to new markets and customers. Fujitsu is currently working with 20 ISVs in the UK with a view to increase this number to 50 by the end of 2012. It has also enabled over 100 ISVs globally to deliver their solutions via the cloud.
The Business Solutions Store is Fujitsu’s new ecosystem for business solutions in the cloud and uses a utility-based pricing model. The ground-breaking partnership allows ISVs to leverage the Fujitsu Global Cloud Platform to grasp business opportunities previously out of reach due to constraints of geography or cost. By partnering with Fujitsu, ISVs gain low-risk, fast-track access to new markets and opportunities, including access to the Fujitsu customer base – selling to end customers via Software as a Service (SaaS) and cloud business services.
