97% of Scots Will Fly Ryanair
OREANDA-NEWS. February 29, 2012. Ryanair, the world’s favourite airline, today (28th Feb) published results of a Scottish customer service survey which revealed that 56% of Scots flew on its low fares at least 4 times in the last 12 months, while 35% flew at least 6 times. Ryanair’s survey (completed by over 1,000 Scots) confirmed that price and destination are still the most important factors when booking a flight with 85% saying Ryanair was value for money, 87% enjoying an on-time flight and 97% confirming they will fly Ryanair again.
Eight out of ten passengers would recommend Ryanair to others while 99% booked on www.ryanair.com, which over 70% found ‘easy to use’. Over 90% found online check-in reminders useful. Ryanair hailed its online check-in a success after over 99% of passengers checked in online and printed their boarding pass before travelling to the airport.
Speaking on BBC Scotland’s John Beattie Show Ryanair’s Director of Customer Service, Caroline Green, said:
“Ryanair carried 76m passengers last year by delivering the lowest fares and the best customer service comprising the most on-time flights, the least lost bags and the fewest cancelations. Ryanair’s low fares (and no fuel surcharges) allow passengers to continue to travel during the recession with over half of those surveyed flying at least four times in the last year and we are delighted that 87% of Scottish passengers arrived on-time.
Ryanair will continue to deliver the lowest fares on Europe’s largest flight network, with a commitment to continuing to deliver the best customer service which has resulted in 97% of passengers confirming they will fly with Ryanair again.”
