OREANDA-NEWS. February 29, 2012. Gazprom Neft Orenburg Board of Directors appointed Aleksey Ovechkin General Director of the company.

Aleksey Ovechkin, born in 1977, has a specialist degree in “Oil and Gas Fields Development”, Udmurtskiy State University.

In April 2009, he was appointed General Engineer of NIS Upstream. From November, 2010 he worked as NIS  Deputy General Director for Exploration and Production.

Before 2009, Aleksey Ovechkin has worked at “TNK-Nyagan” companies and in different departments at ”Udmurtneft”.
