Volume of Paid Services in Uzbekistan Grew by 16.1% in 2011
OREANDA-NEWS. February 29, 2012. The volume of paid services rendered to population in Uzbekistan in January- December 2011 was 10.557 trillion soums or grew by 16.1% compared to January- December 2010, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.
The main part of paid services was rendered to population by the official sector, the volume of services rendered by this sector was 6.828 trillion soums (46.7% of total volume) or increased by 17%.
The volume of paid services rendered to population by individual entrepreneurs has increased by 14.3% to 3.73 trillion soums. The share of this sector in the total volume of paid services was 35.3%.
The share of the non-state sector in the total volume of paid services rendered to population was 81.7%, the committee said.
The share of personal services in the total volume of paid services was 10.7% or 1.129 trillion soums. Their real volume has increased by 25.3%.
The share of services rendered by individual entrepreneurs in the personal services sector was 88.8%. The volume of services rendered by this sector has increased by 26% and reached 1.003 trillion soums.
