OREANDA-NEWS. February 29, 2012. SORAINEN Estonia advised Cargotec, the listed Finnish cargo handling solutions provider, in the transfer of its component manufacturing operations in Narva, Estonia, to Komas, an international engineering industry system supplier, reported the press-centre of SORAINEN.

Komas, already previously one of Cargotec's preferred steel structure suppliers, and Cargotec have agreed on a long-term sourcing partnership whereby Cargotec will remain a key customer of the plant. The cooperation and the transaction together combine to support Cargotec's approach to focus on its core activities.

SORAINEN advised on pre-transaction activities and negotiations involving the asset transfer plus ancillary documents. The SORAINEN team was led by specialist counsel Kadri Kallas with the support of partner Toomas Prangli.
