OREANDA-NEWS. February 28, 2012. On the pig breeding complex of the project “PARK: Industrial-Agricultural Regional Clusters”, the first turn of which was commissioned in August 2011, construction of the second turn objects is continued. The second turn includes reproducer, fattening farm, feeding farm and auxiliary services block, reported the press-centre of Titan.
The most finished object – the reproducer for 4800 sows which will receipt the first batch of pregnant pigs. On this object first of all one of the three blocks of waiting will be handed over – on the area everything is ready for erection of equipment. In the block of waiting the future moms are kept for one month, afterwards they will be transferred into the farrow block – it will be commissioned right before the reinforcement, which, let us mention, will take place at the end of March.
The builders also started construction of the fattening farm for 16 640 head – here brickwork was started in the areas which will be commissioned in the first place. Piglets will arrive to the fattening farm when they are 30 days old, and when they are 80 days old they will be transferred to the feeding farm. In all the structure of the pig breeding complex includes 2 such farms with total capacity of almost 40 000 head. Works on one of them are already underway: pile driving is in the process on the construction site, and the contractor started to bring in necessary materials. By the end of February intense construction works will start on this object.
Nowadays about 20 contractor organizations and hundreds of construction workers are involved in the construction of the pig breeding complex.
