Bank of Moscow Extended to Mosmetrostroy Guarantees
OREANDA-NEWS. February 27, 2012. The Bank of Moscow has extended to Open Joint-Stock Company Mosmetrostroy a number of guarantees to the total amount of RUR 821 mln. In particular 4 guarantees to the total amount of RUR 327 mln were extended for the benefit of Chennai Metro Rail Limited (India) for the design and construction of underground stations and tunnels in Chennai (India). One guarantee was extended for the benefit of the Main Administration of the State Railways of the Republic of Turkey to the amount of RUR 254 mln enabling it to take part in the bids for the construction of the infrastructure sites of the Ankara-Izmir high-speed railway. A guarantee was also extended for the benefit of Herrenknecht AG (Germany) to the total of RUR 240 mln for the manufacture and delivery of tunneling equipment for tunnel boring in Chennai (India).
The Bank of Moscow has been working in cooperation with OJSC Mosmetrostroy since 2000, the latter being a multi-core construction enterprise performing underground, architectural and finishing, special, track laying, installation and other work. Over this period of time the Bank of Moscow has extended to OJSC Mosmetrostroy more than 44 loans and over 100 guarantees.
