OREANDA-NEWS. February 27, 2012. Belarus’ Finance Ministry has posted a republican budget surplus of 0.4 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) (USD 48 million at the NBB rate) in January 2012, the president’s press-service reported following a government meeting held February 9.

The republican budget indicates spending and revenues of the central administration, whereas the consolidated budget also includes local budgets.

Revenues of the republican budget in January 2012 totalled Br6.4 trillion, 7% of the year target, the press-service informed.

According to the 2012 budget plan, republican budget expenditures are supposed to stay under Br92.8 trillion matching the anticipated level of budget revenues in 2012.
