OREANDA-NEWS. February 27, 2012. Belagroprombank’s profit in 2011 totalled BYR 304 billion, representing 20% y.o.y. growth, reported the press-centre of Belagroprombank.

The bank’s equity went up 30,9% and reached BYR 7,6 trillion as of 01.01.2012.

The resource base grew 1,6-fold to BYR 50,9 trillion as of 01.01.2012, which was largely contributed by the following:
 
A 2,7-fold increase (up to BYR 7,2 trillion) in corporate deposits, enabling the bank to raised its share in the corresponding market sector from 13,5 % to14,7%);

BYR 8,7 trillion of funds attracted by means of bonded loans and other securities owned by the bank;

A 2,6-fold (up to BYR 7,3 trillion) increase in retail customer funds placed with the bank;

A 2,7-fold (up to BYR 7, trillion) increase of foreign credit facilities.
 
Increased resource base enabled the bank to significantly grow lending to domestic economy and individuals.
 
Since the year-start 2011 total gross loans to the economy provided by Belagroprombank increased 1,4-fold to more than BYR 39 trillion as of 01.01.2012, which accounts for 20% of the total gross domestic loan portfolio growth.
 
A balanced credit policy implemented by Belagroprombank enabled it to achieve a high rate of credit investments amidst growing financial backing of the real sector of economy. NPL share in the bank’s loan portfolio decreased from 0,3% to 0,2% over the past year.
 
The corporate loan portfolio totalled BYR 36,1 trillion, which is 1,5 times more than at the beginning of 2011.
 
As of 01.01.2012 retail loan portfolio exceeded BYR 1,5 trillion, posting a 1,4-fold y.o.y. growth. Since 2011 the bank has ranked second among Belarusian banks by volume of loans to individuals, and in 2011 took over the leadership in consumer lending.
 
In the reporting period Belagroprombank outperformed its peers across many financials. As a result, Belagroprombank’s share in retail deposits increased from 11,7 to 14,2%, while its market share in corporate deposits grew from 13,57% to 14,7%.
