OREANDA-NEWS. February 27, 2012. The North-Western Directorate of OJSC IC Allianz (ROSNO trademark) has concluded an insurance contract covering the construction and assembly works performed in course of reconstruction of high-voltage cable lines laid by Petrocom Ltd. The contractual insurance amount is 1,180,182,508 roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The insurance protection applies to the works related to laying two 110 kV cable lines 10,403 and 8,360 metres long, electric installation works, and deinstallation of the existing equipment. The power lines lay under the city streets of Admiralteiskij and Kirovskij districts, originating from a substation near the Bypass Channel and ending at the TEC Avtovskaya No. 15 located near Narodnoye Opolchenie Avenue.

The facilities have been insured against fire, explosion, lightning stroke; aircraft impact; natural disasters; soil subsidence and underground water flooding; deliberate third-party actions; burglary, robbery or brigandage; breakdown of plumbing networks; installation errors, collapse of, or damage to, the insured object, damage during cargo lifting operations.

The contract also covers civil liability of Petrocom Ltd for damage inflicted to property, life and/or health of third parties in the course of reconstruction works, as well as post-commissioning warranty obligations of the general contractor.

The contract will be effective till 2017.
