OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2012. Uralkali started preparing to renovation of the forth processing line in the granulation division of Solikamsk-2 processing mill. The objective of the renovation is to increase the output of the forth line from 20 to 35 tons per hour. The estimated project investments will be about 500M rubles.

Meantime existing process equipment is dismantled, late in March installation of new equipment will be launched. Eight existing vibration screening machines will be replaced with one Rhewum machine. One Koppern (Germany) roller press will be put in place of three roller presses. Similar equipment is used in the recently renovated granulation division of Berezniki-3 processing mill.

In addition, a new hopper, belt and scraper conveyors, as well as elevators will be installed in the granulation division of Solikamsk-2. The process of commissioning is planned to start in November and in December the processing line will be put into pilot operation. The renovated processing line will be completely automated.
