OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2012. At a regular meetingof the JSC Kyivstar Supervisory Board the changes were approved in the Company’s Board of Directors. Artem Nits was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Kyivstar by decision of the Board.

According to the decision of the Kyivstar SupervisoryBoard dated December 7, 2011, Artem Nits was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Kyivstar. Previously, since April 2011 Artem Nits has been Acting Chief Financial Officer, combining this position with work as Director of Kyivstar Corporate Strategy and member of the Company Board of Directors.

Artem joined Kyivstar in 2004, where he worked as Research Manager of Strategic Management and Organization Development Department and Director of Corporate Strategy. From 2008 Artem was in charge of the Corporate Strategy Department, in which he was responsible for developing long-term strategy, business planning and goal-setting system, implementation of strategic projects and M&A (mergers and acquisitions).

Before joining Kyivstar, from 2000 to 2004, Artem worked in various ING Bank Representative Offices as Project Manager and Business Analytic in Ukraine, the Netherlands and Hungary.

Artem graduated from KievNationalEconomic University, where he qualified as MBA, Master of Financial Management, and International ChristianUniversity, where he got a Bachelor’s Degree in Management. Artem Nits is 35.

Also, on December 7, 2011 the Kyivstar Supervisory Board approved a renewed composition of the Company Board of Directors as under:

Ihor V. Lytovchenko, President and Chairman of the Board;

Artem M. Nits, Chief Financial Officer, Member of the Board;

Taras V. Parkhomenko, Marketing Director, Member of the Board;

Andrii P. Osadchuk, Director for Regulatory and Legal Support, Member of the Board.
