OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2012. Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) signed today a Memorandum on co-operation and interaction regarding implementation of projects in the field of medium-sized business support. The signing took place at the IX Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum, reported the press-centre of KASE.

On the part of EDB the memorandum was signed by deputy Chairman of Board, Gennadiy Zhuzhlev, from the ASI - Director of "New Business" direction, Artyom Avetisyan.

The parties agreed on development of a long-term, efficient and mutually beneficial co-operation aimed at the development of the Russian economy and supporting medium-sized business on the territory of the Russian Federation. EDB and ASI will unite their efforts in solving such issues as promotion and implementation of socially significant business-projects, improvement of entrepreneurial and investment climate, finding out and surmounting obstacles in the way of entrepreneurship's development, dissemination of best practices in regions of the Russian Federation.
