OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2012. It has been signed an agreement between the JSC "Lysychanskvuhillya" and the Scientific and Technological Corporation "Tyandi" to implement a pilot project to modernize the mine named after D.F. Melnikov (Luhansk region) worth of 85 million dollars by the credit of the State Development Bank of China.

Thus, there has been launched pilot project in the framework of the agreements between the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and the President of the People's Republic of China Hu Jintao on attracting investment for renovation and technical re-equipment of the domestic coal industry.

By results of the state visit of the President of Ukraine to China in September 2010 it has been signed an agreement on financial cooperation, in terms of a fixed willingness Chinese side to provide USD 1 billion to modernize the Ukrainian coal industry.

Signing the contract between the JSC "Lysychanskvuhillya" and the Scientific and Technological Corporation "Tyandi" was part of the visit representatives of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine to People's Republic of China.
